In the midst of forests, lakes andbeautiful scenery, the staff of the Halmes bakery enchant the residents ofEastern Belgium with their unique baking creations. Starting with the firstbakery in Bütgenbach, the family business has grown over the past few yearswith 5 branches spread across the Belgian Eifel region. The core of thesuccessful bakery chain, the bakery in Bütgenbach, has now been completelyredesigned.

COMBINATION OF TRADITIONAL AND MODERN

In order to do justice to the charm of thebakery and incorporate the classic elements of a brasserie into the modernambience desired, interior designer Patrick Meyer opted for an elegantinterpretation of the country house style. This project produced a number ofinitially conflicting challenges: the café has to be inviting for thecustomers, while also being efficient for the staff and sales, as well asproviding a perfect setting to present the various bakery and pastry products.The objective was for fresh modern ideas not to outdo the traditional characterbut, rather, contribute to the harmonious interior design.

为了充分体现烘培店的魅力，将小酒馆的经典元素融入所需的现代氛围中，室内设计师帕特里克·迈耶（Patrick Meyer）选择对这所乡村风格的房子进行优雅的诠释。这个项目最初产生了许多相互矛盾的地方：咖啡馆必须吸引顾客，同时还要提高员工和销售人员的效率，环境必须可以完美的展示各种面包和糕点。设计的目标是让新鲜前卫的现代理念不超越传统特征，同时能产生和谐的设计感。

Fresh pastel shades and natural colorsharmoniously complete the more traditional look desired. In addition to thetasteful decorative strips, playful wallpapers add further charming highlights.The long, straight counter front, floor-to-ceiling display shelving and theunusual pendant lights create a cosy, modern ambience.

清新柔和的色调配上自然的颜色，和谐展示了更加传统的外观。除了雅致的装饰线条外，俏皮的壁纸更增添了迷人的亮点。长而直的柜台前，落地式展架和不同寻常的吊灯营造出舒适现代的氛围。

The secret lies in the details: carefullyselected mouldings set off the bakery and café perfectly, inviting customers tosit and relax. The moulding strips from the A1 NOMASTYL®, WL1 WALLSTYL® undFD15 WALLSTYL® product ranges were chosen for the interior design details.

The timeless, classic design of the A1NOMASTYL® ceiling mouldings creates a clean, elegant transition from theceiling to the wall. Their pronounced lines and curves create interestingshadow effects. The ceiling mouldings are also ideal for framing the top edgeof the stylishly illustrated wallpaper.

The simple WL1 WALLSTYL®   wallmolding complements the ceiling molding wonderfully, creating a discreet yettasteful transition to the lower wall. The graceful design of the wall mouldingmerges with the classic interior style, enhancing the contrast with the calmdark blue color.
